Behind every veteran's return home is a network of support that stands strong because of you. Your donations bridge the gap from service to civilian life, offering our heroes the resources, respect, and recognition they deserve. By contributing today, you're not just giving funds—you're providing a foundation for a veteran's new beginning.
Whether it’s aiding with medical expenses, funding essential job training, or simply ensuring that no call for help goes unanswered, your generosity is the pillar upon which their new life is built.
Join us in this mission. Your contribution, no matter the size, makes real-life impacts. Honor their service with your support and watch as together, we transform gratitude into action.

Thanks to the Elfring family, we had our last food handout with Herbert Elfring yesterday and today (in spirit) . We delivered delicious food to 23 veterans and 40 people in total. Herb used to love fresh food handout at First United Methodist Church before the "virus" when things were normal. He still delivered food with us every week.
Thank you Elfrings.
Words are not enough to thank the Vietnam Veterans of America,Chapter 109 Jackson, Mi for being by Herb's side right to the end. Our hearts are full knowing you provided Military Honors for Herbert Elfring on his final earthly journey. We know Herb was smiling knowing you were the heroes sending him off. It's really not how you treat someone when they are gone--it is how you treat them while they are here and you supported Herb in everything we did. I am sure the two Bobs were telling Herb--don't worry, the guys will do this perfectly--and you did.
Our first friend was Herb, and the second was Bob Wilkinson when we cold called him and said, "Would you like to come to a brunch on Veterans Day right across from the ceremony?" He said, "Sure, why not. You made it easy for us. I would like to meet you all anyhow."
Then we had a random blizzard and NO FOOD... but Texas Roadhouse Lisa Goodnoe-Crandall and Stacy Pasko without knowing us delivered food out of nowhere and you all showed up in the blizzard...
And that day we were asked by Julie Alexander to have Herb honored in Lansing..
And that is how the friendship between Vietnam Veterans of America,Chapter 109 Jackson, Mi and Herbert Elfring and Texas Roadhouse and ONE Stop Veteran Resources began.
We love you Herb, Bob Wilkinson and Bob Clear and all our other fallen heroes..
We will have another brunch one day together again.
Thank you VVA 109
